Are all types of earbuds the best?

True Wireless Earbuds

First of all, I would like to tell you something about my personal life. I, Muhammad Shahid Akhtar, am the owner of a shop. My business partner Taswer Ahmad works in mobile & headphone sales. Since about 2010, I’ve loved headphones from the beginning.

We also have a testing lab. We can recognize even the slightest sound issues & classify them into a category. Some time ago, I bought a local company’s earbuds. For a few months, I used them; their battery became extremely short, & they did not connect to both at the same time, & their sound quality deteriorated significantly. Then I used a non-TWS but wireless Sony WH-1000XM5. I like it. You may not necessarily like it as much as I do, but it has many features that impress me a lot. Its sound, then, has its own quality. It is heart-warming and soothing. It’s a long-time listening experience, around 40 hours on a single charge.

‎If you are a gaming enthusiast, you can play games with near zero delay by connecting a 3.5mm wire jack, which is a great option for gamers. They can be fully customized, factory reset, and updated with firmware through the app, and it’s available for both Android and Apple users, so these headphones are compatible with all types of Bluetooth devices.

True wireless earbuds features

  • They have a rechargeable

  • Wireless and USB charging modes

  • Noise cancelation mode This technology prevents external noise from entering your ears. Some new expensive models adjust themselves automatically according to the environment and, with an app, have customized options, while ordinary ones have to be set manually. I experimented with ANC mode, and after the experiment, I found that over-ear headphones have more control than in-ear ones.

  • Some new models come that are basically TWS, but their USB port supports an audio cable with near-zero delay.

Which one should you buy: TWS or over-ear?

Are you planning to buy headphones but finding it difficult to decide which ones are best for you? Let me guide which one to buy. Use them at the office, home, or similar places; you should go for over-ear because they are more comfortable and easy to use in such environments. And they are perfect for both small and large ears.

For outside, in-ear earbuds are the best for you because they are small in size and come with a case that can be kept in a pocket, and you can travel with them anywhere. Due to their small size, they look beautiful in the ears.

How to fix a true wireless earbud when one of its buds works while the other doesn’t

‎Some time ago, one of my earbuds worked while the other one didn’t. I’ll tell you in detail how I checked it and then how it was fixed. First I took both of them off my ears. I cleaned their charging pins and put them back in the case to see that both were charging properly. They were both charging. I let it stay in the case for half an hour. I took both out and checked them. Both were working, but when I used them again, the same problem occurred. When I connected one by one, both were working. It then became clear that the primary and secondary were not communicating with each other, which was causing this problem. I reset them. When I checked, both were working properly, and that solved my problem.

‎One bud is not charging; it is fixed.

‎I also faced this problem some time ago. One of my earbuds was charging while the other wasn’t. So let me tell you how I fixed it. First, I cleaned the charging pins of the earbuds and charging case using 70% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) to remove carbon buildup. The pins were a bit crooked, which reduced their flexibility. I straightened them with the help of tweezers; after that, their flexibility was completely restored. After cleaning them thoroughly, I fully charged the charging case and put both earbuds back on charge. But the problem remained the same. Now I took the buds out of the charging case and gave them a direct current of 2.7 V from the mobile power supply for about a minute. I put them back in the charging case, and they started charging.
